Amazon Web Services GovCloud imageAmazon Web Services, a cloud hosting provider announced in a blog post last week that they have added additional cloud service to GovCloud. This separate set of cloud resources is designed to meet the compliance needs of Us government agencies, and the applicaions and business incorporated in them. According to the blog post, GovCloud will now include Relational Database service that will permit users to run database instances that are built in MySQL, Oracle Databse, or Microsoft SQL server with RDS handling the database and scaling work. Amazon also offers Amazon DynamoDB, a NoSQL database that offers an included SSD storage and automatic replication.
