How To Remove Anything From a Photo Using Photoshop

In this episode from PHLearn Photoshop and Photography Tutorials, PHLearn will show you the techniques on how to remove anything from a photo using Photoshop. The trick is to use selection tools. In the tutorial video, PHLearn will try to remove the trashcan and street sign behind a lamp post and a stone seat. To remove objects from the background, make a selection that keeps that lamp post and stone seat from being affected. Using the Pen Tool will do the trick.

Another essential tool in this tutorial is the clone stamp tool. After you’ve made a selection use the clone stamp tool to duplicate the sampled area and fill in the gaps that went missing after you get rid of the trash can and street lamp.
