CyrusOne, a data center provider announced on Friday that they are at the first phase of its 160,000 data center expansion in Houston West campus. It is fully-operational with 40,000 feet of square space.

With the addition of the 160,000 square feet, it has a now a total capacity of 18MW which brings Houston West data center to a total of 300,000 feet.

This makes the facility the largest data center campus for seismic exploration computing in oil and gas industry.

Once all the phase is completed, the facility will have a total of 60 to 70 mW of capacity.
