Google and Microsoft has announced on Monday ahead of the Internet Security Summit that they have plans to prevent up to 100,000 search terms that is associated with online child and sexual abuse to appear in search engine results.

Child protection experts have collaborated to create a list of unambiguous search terms. Google and Microsoft will roll out these changes to about 150 languages. This software will initially be introduced in the UK.

This announcement comes after the Canadian police has arrested about 350 people around the world who were involved or in connection with a company that is producing or distributing child pornography in Toronto.
