Some of the products from Cisco Systems and Juniper networks contain the Heartbleed bug. The networking equipment, and other equipment including the routers, firewalls, and switches that uses OpenSSL may contain a defective code.

There are about 65 products that are being investigated for vulnerability and 16 are confirmed vulnerable, 2 services had been vulnerable, but have bee remediated.

Cisco is one of the largest vendors of routers and switches in the world. It offers security software to customers to detect “Heartbleed” exploits and promises free software patches when developed.

Juniper, on the other hand, offer products and services to numerous companies in hosting and related industries.
