The Court of Appeal outlines that the extradiction is an important feature of international relationships. It will provide a mecahism to enable the return of the suspect to the requesting state to stand trial for the alleged criminal offenting while at the same time ensure that the extradiction process will not be abused, and legitimate rights protected.

Kim DotCom tweeted after the ruling, he said: “Am I disappointed about the ruling today? YES. Do ‘good faith’ & ‘US govt’ go together? NO. Will I sleep like an innocent baby tonight? YES,”
