Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom revealed additional details to the upcoming file sharing service which is planned to launch next year. Other than encrypted file sharing service, Me.ga will offer free broadband services to all of New Zealand residential users. The broadband plan, as explained in the Twitter post of Kim Dotcom, aims to resurrect  the Pacific Fibre, which was aimed before to connect New Zealand and the US using an undersea cable. The project was abandoned before due to the lack of funds to construct it. Kim Dotcom plans to fund the project using his money from Me.ga, and finding investors to fund this project.
