Some users of Microsoft Azure has experienced a partial downtime starting early Wednesday. During that time, Microsoft issued a “Partial Performance Degradation” update on their status page. The affected regions were North and South Central US, North Europe, West Europe, South East Asia, East Asia, East US and West US. It was then escalated to Partial Service Interruption at 9am GMT.

Microsoft has narrowed down the impact of the disruption to the swap deployment feature of service management. By Thursday, the problem has been addressed and all service management functionality has been restored. Microsoft has resolved the issue on Thursday.
