Law enforcement agencies from three continents has seized more than 700 domains on Tuesday for selling counterfeit goods. The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Europol, and Hong Kong customs have worked together on the project in coordination with National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center.

The US Government is now targeting PayPal accounts that are used by websites for the seizure and $175,00 of the proceedings.

According to ICE Acting Director, John Sandweg, Counterfeiters are taking advantage of the holiday season to sell cheap fakes to unsuspecting customers around the world.

The counterfeit products are DVDs, electronic accessories, apparel, and personal products. There are also products focus on the NFL and related brands.
