US President Barack Obama is preparing a legislative proposal to set new limits to NSA’s bulk phone data collection.


According to the report, the administrator’s plan is to end the systematic collection of data relating to calling habits of Americans. Bulk records remain in the hands of phone companies, and NSA will need to get permission from the Judge to give them access to specific records.

The administration is also to set a new court order that would need phone companies to make records faster and in a more suitable format, then make a data about new called placed and received.
