NASARussia’s Pirate Party has offered either collocation or dedicated servers on their hosting platform during the government shutdown. Due to the government shutdown, the website: nasa.gov is currently inoperable.

All but 549 or NASA’s 18000 civil servants have been forloughed and some contractors are able to resume their work in the said space agency as long as they are not working in a federally-owned facility.

The Pirate Party of Russia, which was founded in July 2009, is a grassroots political movement. It hasn’t been registered as an official political party in Russia because of the criminal connotation of “pirate”. The Pirate Party recently launched a web hosting service that were banned by Russia’s internet censorship law.
