Rackspace, a web hosting provider announced on Wednesday that they have launched its latest version of Rackspace private cloud software which is built on the most recent, stable release of OpenStack, Grizzly.

With the latest version, this takes advantage of the new features that enable users to manage virtual networks, using a single sign-on, and to leverage external storage arrays in a private cloud environment.

Rackspace will also be backing up the release of the new Private Cloud Software in two different tiers of support – Core Software Support and Software Education Support. It aims to help users design, deploy, and operate the private cloud.
