Shape Security, protects websites against cyber attacks through a method called real-time polymorphism. Polymorphism is a common technique used by malware to bypass antivirus detection systems by changing its code every time a new machine is infected. ShapeShifter, Shape Security’s new product is a network security appliance which can change codes on any website, remove static elements that malware and botnets use in their attacks.

ShapeShifter protects the website by changing the HTML, JavaScript, or CSS code. So, instead of a static, fixed element, attackers are facing a moving target that constantly rewrites iteself.
